Fall Flowers

I’m unsure as to why the current weather schedule dumps rain on Saturdays or Sundays or both, but I’m delighted that today has turned out to be a picture perfect Fall Day including the mostly glorious temperature. I’ll be out this afternoon to meet more neighbors. I look forward to seeing all the Halloween Decor, mums and Zinnias. They are all over our neighborhood! I’m a huge mum-lover and also adore Zinnia’s: the Energizer Bunny of flowers. The more you cut them, the more you get. And they will thrive till first frost.

So, Ill be out today on foot knocking on doors and I’ll also be at :

• The ANC Meeting at Right Proper tonight hosted by ANC Ra Amin over at Right Proper at 630p. Hope you will come by for his meeting and if you are a resident in 5b03, we can talk about our side of Brookland.

• Tuesday Oct 20th: I’ll be back at Right Proper at 11am - Noon hanging out on the deck drinking (my) tea and available for anyone that wants to come by as well.

• On Tuesday night, you may see me at the the Brookland Civic Association Member Meeting at DCTV, but I will be there as a Civic Officer and not campaigning for the ANC 5b03 seat. So any questions for ANC will have to take place at another time/day.
