After today, there is only ONE FRIDAY left before election day. That went fast. I won’t even mention how many Fridays are left till Christmas. That might just be too much to take in.
Fridays for me are full blown work days, as are weekends. When you own a small business and sell at markets, days like today are not TGIF. We reserve that for Mondays. We live in an opposite world to most people.
It’s hard for me to be out and about on a Friday knocking on doors for the above reason (micro-business owner) but I have been redesigning my ANC Palm Cards since all 500 that were printed have been given out. I’ve mentioned that I’m using Global Print Masters on RIA. “Keepin’ it in the family” so to speak.
Lastly, we all feel how charged these Mid-terms are because we all know how much is riding on them. From Fed to right down to local. I do hope you are registered to vote and will vote. There is still time to become well-versed (ie: educated) on the people and the platforms before mailing in or showing up in person to vote. Maybe think about how your vote will not only affect you personally, but how it may affect someone else’s life for better (or worse). I tell my staff every single week: “Make it better and easier for the next person. That person may also be you one day.”
You will see me out and about this weekend at a few different places and events. So please stop me and say helloooo!

ps. Todays photo is of a feral cat who decided to live, eat and nap on my deck (sometimes). His name is Yukon Cornelius. He doesn’t vote nor does he care. Which I find, both freeing and annoying.
